Full details of the prize
Courtesy of Turquoise Holidays, you’ll fly to Grenada and be whisked away to Calabash Hotel on the south-west coast of the island, which will be your home for the next seven nights, staying in a Deluxe Suite. Calabash Hotel is a Relais & Châteaux all-suite boutique hotel, owned and run by the Garbutt family, that exemplifies Grenadian hospitality.
Thirty bespoke suites stand where the Caribbean Sea’s crystal waters meet the fresh saltwater breeze, overlooking the yacht-speckled Prickly Bay. From the white-sand beach, you’ll be able to enjoy kayaking, snorkelling and paddle-boarding, as well as yoga on the pavilion. Alternatively, while away the days and relax with holistic and rejuvenating spa treatments, many of which use local ingredients harvested from the island, or pick up your racquet for a spot of tennis. (Activities at winner’s expense.)

Calabash Hotel has three restaurants, noted as being some of the best on the island. Rhodes offers fine evening dining, under a canopy of flowering vines and twinkling lights, whilst Nori serves Japanese and Peruvian-inspired dishes overlooking the hotel’s infinity pool. The more relaxed Beach Club is open daily for breakfast and lunch. Each restaurant expertly blends elegant cuisine with authentic Grenadian spices and flavours to create a world-class dining experience.
In addition to breakfast on the beach every morning, you’ll be treated to thoughtful touches such as rum punch and homemade cookies on arrival, complimentary fresh local fruit juice served on the beach, and canapés delivered to your suite each evening.
On day eight you will depart for Barbados and stay for a further seven nights at Coral Reef Club in one of the beautifully interior designed and spacious Plantation Suites, with stunning views and private plunge pool. Spanning 12 acres of landscaped gardens, this elegant retreat embodies timeless Bajan charm and sophistication nestled amid vibrant tropical foliage.

The Coral Reef Club experience is defined by its exceptional hospitality, a hallmark of the O’Hara family, who have managed the hotel for over 65 years. You will be warmly welcomed into what feels like an extension of the family’s home, and are invited to a weekly cocktail party which has been hosted since the 1960s, at Cynthia O’Hara’s home.
Dining at Coral Reef Club is a highlight, with an exquisite open-air restaurant overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The menu, which changes daily, features freshly caught seafood, local delicacies, and international favourites, providing an unforgettable culinary journey.
The jewel in Coral Reef Club’s crown is its award-winning spa, designed by interior design firm, Helen Green Designs. Here, unwind in shaded cabanas by the hydro-pool, and opt for a Natura Bissé treatment, or an exclusive body treatment inspired by the island’s natural bounty (at winner’s expense).
The hotel recently unveiled a state-of-the-art padel court, and you will also be able to enjoy complimentary tennis coaching, watersports, and weekly garden tours, which are home to tropical flowers, towering palms, and hummingbirds.

About The Turquoise Holiday Company
Founded in 2002, by Sue Bell, James Bell and Brian Barton, The Turquoise Holiday Company is a family-owned and run business that began with a mission to create extraordinary holidays and put the romance and glamour into the travel industry. With a focus on customer care and making truly memorable holidays, Sue, James and Brian started with a focus on honeymoons. The business blossomed and 23 years later over 10,000 honeymoons have been booked and Turquoise is well and truly embedded into the lives of thousands of couples. It was only natural then that many have returned with children in tow and now family holidays make up a huge portion of the business, alongside once-in-a-lifetime celebrations.
